“I came to this world with nothing
and I leave with nothing but love” – Mike Skinner
Final day, and we’re all done. I thought the above quote was rather fitting.
Today’s class was the hardest so far, just couldn’t breath. But managed to stay in the room so it was all good.
It’s time for some pictures. Here’s an almost full series, just skipped out a couple that are hard to get good photos of.
Looking at those photos I’ve still got a lot of back bending to do, and damn it Lock the Knee! (in standing bow). If you want to know what I think about the postures read the posture summary post from a couple of weeks back.
I thought I’d finish with a poem to round this all up. Ask me how!
Did you hear about the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature’s law wrong it
learned to walk with out having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams,
it learned to breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete
when no one else even cared.
You see you wouldn’t ask why the rose that grew from the concrete
had damaged petals. On the contrary, we would all celebrate its
tenacity. We would all love it’s will to reach the sun.
Well, we are the rose – this is the concrete – and these are
my damaged petals. Don’t ask me why, thank God, ask me how!
