Challenge accepted

I had been planning on ramping up the amount of Bikram yoga I do from the first of Jan since a while back. Then I heard of the bikram 101 challange a couple of days before it started (1st Jan, you guessed it). Perfect timing, so I figured I’d give it a go. I still need to work out the logistics, but as I’m out of the country at the moment I figured I’ll have to let it be until early next week. For now I’ve got the schedule sorted until Monday.

There are a lot of things left to work through, like making sure I get enough of the right kind of food. I think that’s what scares me the most. When I first started doing bikram it worked out awesome until I’d burned through all my fat reserves and got really sick. It was easily fixed by eating more, but I think doing yoga everyday will require another review before we get to far along. I don’t want to just add a load of sugar and other fast foods. I’m also thinking of adding a detox sometime soon, we’ll see.

I’m actually really excited about getting started, let’s hope we can keep up this spirit throughout the next couple of months!
